Weber might be a better fit for the team but I am convinced we traded away the younger, better player and someone who is arguably a top 5 defenseman for someone who needs an ideal partner and is maybe top 20.

On the main board there is a thread( albeit a troll one) asking if Weber is still a top pairing defenseman, which he obviously is but you never hear that kind of nonsense about Subban.

Even though Subban Actually plays on the 2nd pairing and 2nd wave PP, I know it means nothing but it's still amusing lol.

Mario Tremblay is such a ****ing buffoon. He's so obvious with his PK hate.

Yes you certainly do

people question PK has a top dman all the time.

top dman: yes obviously debatable, top pairing dman: not even close. I've never heard someone call Subban a second pairing dman

@Aberahab

Don't get me wrong, I love Weber but Nashville has 2 first pairings and we both know that.

Mario Tremblay allegedly insulted P.K. Subban during DUI arrest

Former Montreal Canadiens player and coach Mario Tremblay tried to pull rank to dodge a drunk-driving arrest, a police officer told a preliminary hearing.

Officer Maxime Perron testified that Tremblay said, "You can't do this to me. I'm Mario Tremblay," and criticized the officer's judgment by comparing him to polarizing Habs defenseman PK Subban.

Looking like (according to Daily Faceoff):
Patch-Danault-Radu
Lekh-Galchenyuk-Gallagher
Byron-Pleks-Shaw
King-McCarron-Mitchell

Markov-Weber
Emelin-Petry
Beaulieu-Benn

Thanks. I was hoping to see King on line 3 and Byron on line 4. I was also hoping to see Martensen instead of Mitchell. I also want to see what we have in Davidson, but I'm not sure who we sit to get him in. Oh well, maybe Saturday.

Don't hate it considering the roster , but man would we be set with another elite center (and perhaps some top 4 help). I absolutely think it was worth selling some of the farm for a better chance at the cup.

Considering these factors :

- Core group of players in their prime.
- No one will care about overpaying with a cup parading downtown MTL.
- I hope Sergachev ends up being a monster because by the time he is ready to make a significant impact you can forget about Pacioretty/Price/Weber still being the difference makers they are today.
