The pivotal games 6 and 7 against Boston in 2014, try to remember who Montreal's best players were.

Someone let in 1 goal over 120 minutes.
Someone had 2G 1 A
Someone had 0pts.

Its examples like this that show how he became bigger than the team.

Hell, 2010 was all about Halak, and you're trying to say PK was the reason this team won?

Let me know when PK sniffs a Hart trophy.

Plz see all pivotal games from 2010 untill 2014 and come back to me.

Thanks

The Habs are my one and only team and I can't imagine myself ever changing allegiance. They were here long before Subban, and they'll be here long after as well.

But I do have a profound disdain for a lot of what the franchise has been standing for since Molson took over. I want nothing more than to see Subban prove Bergevin and the rabid medias of Montréal wrong. To me that would be karma coming back to bite them.

Do I wish to see this team fail? No, I don't. But I'll always hold Molson, Bergevin and Therrien accountable for ruining the kind of core they inherited.

I get that. To me that depends on the perspective as to whether Weber vs. Subban was a good trade or not. As much as I like PK, I like Weber more. I'm convinced he was traded because a better option was made available. That debate has been done to death and only time will tell how good that decision was.

It's posts like this that make it hard to really debate on here. Who are you to decide who a hero is? I think you should talk to all the sick kids about who possibly might be their hero. People have to understand that with PK, he delivered as best as he could on the ice and he also delivered off the ice. You can say the logo was there before but with PK it tapped new markets brought a different type of exposure to the habs/hockey in general. People have grown to love him for simple things as just being different. You can tell that the hate some display here is unwarranted when they go making fun about his charity work.

The man was awarded a medal from the Governor General for his work in the community. Can you not separate the player from the man? His on ice accomplishments were 6 years of sizzle. Great stuff. Thanks for for the good times but now I have my team to cheer for and you're in the way from them getting two much needed points.

If you mean to imply that he transcended from more than just the game in Montreal, you may have justified his trade from the business standpoint of the team. Not saying it's right or wrong, it just is.

Also if anyone has a gif or link of Radulov hit in the 3rd period against NJD that would be great haha

Again, please try to remember that not all fans are alike. Some fans do want to see a tribute to the guy "they" love/loved. In that case the easiest solution for you is to just turn your tv off for that two seconds and come back when its done. Your opinion on being a fan is not consensus. People have the right to have whatever hero/heros they want.

I have to say "Always impressed with PK Subban's enthusiasm/entertaining nature, along with his talents." That said I'm truly glad Shea Weber is our #1 Dman, leading our defensive corps with Markov, two great leaders on the Habs defence.(Not since the 70's defence corps, has our defence had this type of leadership.) Like the old saying "You have to give to get." both men have styles that stand out for us mere mortals. Looking forward to another great game this week, both teams are on a roll, Go Habs Go!!!...:handclap::handclap::handclap:

Sorry PK Subban & Nashville, the Habs blood runs thick in this old fan.

Go Habs Go!!!...:nod::nod::nod:

Why is it so hard for those who don't want to watch it to go make a quick sandwhich in meantime :laugh:. Altering the event for you guys is impossible since you are not the only fans. There are other types of fans who do have an attachment with that player and would enjoy watching that ceremony.

I hope not for PK's sake. He's a terrible fighter.

It's going to be hard to watch the game and not just PK.

That's being liberal, I'm sure my great-granddaughter can fight better and she's not quite 3 yrs.old, smarter than a whip though!!!...:yo::yo::yo:

Of course they do. I don't care one way or the other if the team acknowledges him. If anything I hope it makes him emotional enough that it affects his performance. My only wish is that once this is done, it's done. I tried watching home Nashville games but the yellow is just too much to handle for prolonged periods of time. Bonne chance, PK.

I loved PK and he was my favorite player. But now that he's gone like hell I'm going to cheer for him. That would mean I want the Habs to lose which is nonsensical. I hope Weber knocks him on his ass and it's a 5-0 rout for the Habs.

The Habs class things up better than anyone else in the league. PK deserves a tribute for what he's done for the organization, fans, and the city. I hope he gets a nice one, but I hope he's kept off the score sheet, and the tribute is the highlight of his evening. The Habs need to get off on the right foot with this new look lineup.

Absolutely true. Utterly embarrassing that some people here will say PK is not worthy of a tribute because he didn't bring us multiple cups.

I was at Saku's first game back. They didn't really honour him. The fans voted him in as 3rd or 2nd star if I recall

But they gave him an extended standing O his first day at a game. While he stood in a suit bedside the bench.

Then again, when Hart trophy winner Jose Theodore returned, all they did was play some Paris Hilton.

From what I remember of him, he's a poor fighter. If he tries anything dirty, he may end up with nostrils 2 inches apart.

Watched him try to fight in Hamilton.......good for laugh.

Like Tavares said about his old pal...."PK is the toughest guy on the ice...with his gloves on"

Nah..... he should get recognized. For sure. He has told the fans "I love you guys" a million times. Gotta be good for some applause.

But he is incapable of and should not be expected to "bring a team a cup" let alone "several".

He is loud, flashy and never shuts up.......but talent wise he is no Sid.

Subban is absolutely worthy of a tribute. He'll definitely get a well-deserved standing ovation as well.

Lol. I didn't remember that, but Paris Hilton makes everything more fun, doesn't she? But your right, perhaps they could've done more for Theodore. That's a question for the powers that be in the organization, but that in itself still doesn't mean PK shouldn't be recognized for what he's done.

A better tribute would be to not trade him.
