I'm admittedly not a Lafferty guy at all from what I saw of him in Toronto... but how likely would it have been for Lafferty to break out offensively in Toronto under Sheldon Keefe the way he has in Vancouver? Outside of Michael Bunting, it's not like anybody thrives offensively.

Jarn looks to be playing as well as he ever has both last year and this season. I don't think Laff would have been the ~.5ppg player he is now, but he'd be an option to move around the bottom 6. Could have been a good fit with both Kampf and Doni/Robertson IMO

Don't you feel Domi is a perfect replacement for Kadri? No, he's obviously not as good but his contract reflects that. $3M vs $7M, great value imo and great fit.
