Name a former Leaf that people generally liked, but you hated.

I'm late to respond, but Irbe and the Canes defeated the Stanley Cup finalists New Jersey Devils in round 1 of that years playoffs and reached the finals. I mean, its a bit unfair to blame Cujo there lol . Though I'll always be disappointed in him leaving looking for an "easy cup" with Detroit. If we're being honest, Belfour wasn't much better, if at all. Seeing as he only got out of the 1st round once, while Cujo never lost in the first round with the Leafs and reached 2 conference finals
 
Most people are picking guys that were at least partially disliked, and some almost universally hated. Didn't think that was the point of the post.

I didn't like Kaberle. Thought he was soft and over-rated offensively.
 
Jason Blake.

Horrible contract for a one dimensional player. Never saw a guy hit so many goalies in the middle of the chest in my life.

Martin Marincin is a close second. He's good in the neutral zone denying zone entries but completely useless otherwise. Waste of a roster spot.

But he did score the series winner against Detroit and the little dude got his organs punctured playing for the leafs. I have to overlook all his physical shortcomings.
 
I disliked Marleau even in his first year. I was so angry that the vet we decided to spend 6M on was a known playoff choker who had the captaincy stripped from him.
 
Brian Glennie what a POS tried to say hi to him at the Olympic pools in the Beaches when I was 10 , he told me to F@#$OFF then got me kicked out when I called him an Ahole for cheating on his wife with my sisters grade 5 teacher . She was cheating on her husband with him , like nobody is going to recognize them in the neighbourhood where she lives and teaches FFS what a Goof .

Not sure how old you are or where you grew up but in 1973 you didn't parade your mistress around in public and you didn't tell 10 year old Leaf fans to F....... for saying Hi to you , we still had actual Canadian values .
