The Robertson Cup scheduling seems intentionally smart (a rare condition in sports), motivating teams to put pedal to metal and sweep their semi-series. Two days off (Sun & Mon) between a hard-fought pair & the Tuesday evening championship game is a definite hockey advantage. It also gives the fans a couple of days to wander around the Twin Cities at a time of year featuring great weather to draw them outdoors.

Game 1's over at Fogerty Arena, Brahmas defeated Wolverines 8-2 and Black Bears defeated Minotauros 7-3. Game 2's on Saturday, same ice.
