Honestly, it's easy for Chuckie to get down on himself at this point.

This must be the longest scoring drought he's ever had.

(in all levels of hockey)

Didn't he set up Subban for that big slapper in the game against Boston, days ago?

Never expected to say this, but Prust with Halpern was hooooot for that one shift they were together...and Moen didn't look like a slouch either.

Beaulieu has been pretty good. Fumbled a bit at the beginning, but did some good plays. He swagged a great backhand pass to go from "exit the zone" to immediate "zone entry" mode.

Good vision, etc.. Defensive positioning hasn't really shined, but eh. He's playing sheltered minutes. I really hope nobody ever wants to trade for a Power play specialist; Beaulieu should be the man to call up for that.
Considering that Kaberle needs his own sheltered minutes because Kaberle sucks in his own end, I'd rather have Beaulieu.

This has to be a joke. Early April Fools, right? A 1st-round D with size and skill for a battered, offensively-limited 30-year-old tough guy??

Maybe SJ asked for Beaulieu but I'm sure MB politely said no.

Unless we are getting a 2-3-4 year player who can make an impact, our 1st, Beaulieu, Tinordi, Collberg, and possibly Kristo are off limits.

My hunch is the highest MB would go for Cole is our 2nd plus another conditionnal pick(like the Leopold/Murray deals) if we go past round 2 or re-sign him long term.

Pateryn came up, played well.
Tinordi came up, played well.
Now Beaulieu, short sample size but he is doing well.

Dietz in the system, Thrower could potentially turn things around in Saskatoon. Ellis and St. Denis as well. Safe to say Kaberle is done and Weber could be traded in a package.

Why is there a clown on the Hotstove? Is it someone's birthday?

Oh - it's stock. He still has a job?

Diaz would be the PP specialist if he can get better. I think if they trade for another d-man it would be a big shutdown Regehr type.

Obviously. I meant, "if we have PP problems because of injuries/others" and we need something to help it out.

No more Wiz or Kaberle trade. Let's go with Beaulieu.

Subban-Diaz
Markov-Beaulieu

that's a menacing power play unit
