I will hate bergevin the second he trades beaulieu, man. he should be untouchable.

The way Bergevin is handling the guys, it doesn't look like he would trade anyone before really taking a good hard look at them. The chances he's giving to all our top guys in Hamilton shows he really wants to evaluate these guys on the big stage with his own eyes to help him plan for the future. I doubt he just goes and trades anyone of value without a first-hand analysis of the player.

Beaulieu's playing good, he's really showing off his offensive instincts. Some good passes and that fake shot, then find an open lane move was pretty sweet.

Galchenyuk has no idea what he's doing tonight. He's made some poor plays, hopefully he bounces back in the third.

pretty rough. Maybe chuckie's behind the back passes pissed off the coaches
Ah, they'll be fine. If there's one thing I've learnt from MT, he won't bench you long. He'll give you a huge chance to bounce back.

Hell, Ryder got benched one game already in MTL, right after a 3-point game. Only played 8-minutes.

I can't believe Pittsburgh won today without Crosby and with Kunitz only playing 8 minutes after getting ejected. WTF

some people here are talking about trading him for clowe. not worth it

This has to be a joke. Early April Fools, right? A 1st-round D with size and skill for a battered, offensively-limited 30-year-old tough guy??

Beaulieu has been pretty good. Fumbled a bit at the beginning, but did some good plays. He swagged a great backhand pass to go from "exit the zone" to immediate "zone entry" mode.

Good vision, etc.. Defensive positioning hasn't really shined, but eh. He's playing sheltered minutes. I really hope nobody ever wants to trade for a Power play specialist; Beaulieu should be the man to call up for that.

Honestly, it's easy for Chuckie to get down on himself at this point.

This must be the longest *goal scoring drought he's ever had.
