love the trade.

today, I would do...only 4 months later:::
Muzzin for Grundstrom 15+ goal forward that can play on any line and do well. no, not a top line guy, but when on any line, will go to the net, hit guys hard, and make things happen and has skill

Muzzin for Durzi best OFFENSIVE defenseman in system and really coming along. Real talent. second pairing RHD potential for certain. Great playoffs and Memorial Cup.

Muzzin for Bjornfot very good skater, poised, leader, high character, good positioning, good both sides puck and can skate it out or pass it out cleanly. said 'virtually mistake free' top 4 potential.

So would Dubas! But he has Muzzin. Nothing against Jake...I loved his game for years here.

Kings certainly would've been better off keeping Muzzin and finishing 30th in the standings.

Actually, maybe Muzzin would have helped the Kings move past New Jersey for 3rd overall and won the lottery.

If only Blake were so prescient!

still a win win trade, I didn't expect to like all three returns as much as I do this early though. Obviously Durzi and Bearfoot are a bit away but getting three players out of Muzzin would be a bonus.

The bonus being Durzi is already rustling jimmies, hope he comes on really really strong.

It's both pro and amateur scouting that has been really good in the last 3 years. The development staff needs to be better to turn things around now. We won't know for at least 3 years if this trade was a good one for us.

Still early but i feel like this since the trade actually happened.

Well if all 3 prospects hit their potential, we can see it as a major win for Blake and the Kings. Like I said let's wait 3 years or so.

Basically:
Grundstrom replaces Pearson's role (3rd liner\2nd line tweener - PK with some PP time)
Durzi replaces Voynov role (2nd PP unit + Provides offense from the middle pair)
Bjornfot replaces Muzzin role (PK some PP - 2 way LD)*

*Still think we need some size in that 5-6 spot to replace Muzzin's physical play but overall it can be a huge haul.
