I'm thinking that it was closer to 3 hours but I was on a date with a guy who likes to watch ALL the credits after the movie and I didn't want to reveal how much I needed the washroom.......so, I wasn't really noting the time right then!
I'm sure in your mind all of the above somehow makes sense?

The interweb says the movie is 2 hrs 40 min.

I have never been to a movie with anyone who likes to watch all the credits (unless it has funny outtakes)?

I've been with a few people, but it's not that rare. Several other folks sat right to the end, but that was probably due to the amazing music.

This guy has a degree in film studies and dabbled in TV production in the city before (sensibly) switching to HR. As opposed to other dates in Vancouver and Winnipeg who said they were studying film and thought it would be really great to make a video together. Spoiler alert: No, I never did.

More importantly, what's the status of Heinola for our game tomorrow night?

Need to see more consistency from Koal, you see glimpses and drips and drabs but playing on the second line he needs to contribute more
alas why Sip calls him the pretend top sixer! Perfetan hasn't done much all season aside for the week and a half where he was able to contribute!

3 assists and a couple those for EN goals in the last 10 games isn't exactly screaming top 6

You don't always know a normal guy is actually creepy until you have a date. Those guys were all 4 hr dates. Of course, even when you're eager to extend them, some guys need longer to reveal their inner creepiness.

Movie makers are not that common, except around a campus film department. The more dangerous issue is photos. That's why the Second Rule of Dating is to never undo or remove anything without first ensuring that you know where his phone is.

If I understand the betting line for tomorrow night (spoiler alert: I probably can't), some of the outlets are predicting that we'll beat the Wild. I realize these are dynamic figures and several bets placed on one team will skew the numbers, but I'm optimistic about our chances.

Can't win 'em all - but that was a crappy effort against the worst team in the league. (They would be without that win.)
Jets just ran out of gas 10 minutes in. On to the next one.

I am not optimistic about it unless Helly steals one.

Good for you opening up about dating this day and age. Glad I do not have to lol

I think that you'll get your wish once Stanley is cleared for contact. And, I'm OK with that as Fleury has been a bit of a disappointment to me, although I'm not sure what I should have expected from a 3rd pairing guy. However, Stanley, too, is often guilty of that awful first pass that then results in an icing.
I've thought from the back half of last season on his exit passes have been much improved

JMo - Miller
Fleury - Pionk
Heinola - DeMelo

I can't see Heinola with Pionk.
Fleury pionk could be a disaster.

The First Rule is to never let your drink out of your sight. If you have to dance or use the washroom, delegate a friend to watch it. If you've no friend to trust, finish the drink before you leave the table. If you forget to finish it, accidentally spill it when you return to your table. (Back in Wpg, some girls took their drinks with them to the ladies room.)

If you haven't watched it continuously, don't drink it.

And on that note, tuna and white wine tonight. Go Jets!

Inwas going to ask inanna about her latest guy as a clear and depressing parody of this board... apparently the board beat me to it

this was a game where the fwds really had nothing going from the looks of it. however, i do agree. his play leaves a lot to be desired. he really hasn't lived up to the hype that some here have bestowed on him.

So he'll be like Copp or AHLAPPLES....:sarcasm:
Won't find anything from me shitting on those guys.

Like I said, open to hearing a more optimistic case than mine!

Then send him to the Purgatory Penguins to join stuck in a rut McGroanery or Columbus like I said above.
Totally agreeing with you on moving him. Sorry, I didn't exactly respond to your post much at all.

There's a lot of teams that have faced adversity with injuries early in the season. It was bound to happen sooner than later. I thought Samberg was easily one of the 3 best Jets defensemen to start the year, so that's going to hurt. I don't think this game gave Scott Arniel much confidence in Haydn Fleury to step up, he was fighting it a bit out there I thought.

Miller did well to step up, with Pionk on his offside, but this one could have some impact. The only other shutdown LD on the team is Morrissey so we'll see how that affects the lineup.

I thought the Jets started well enough but as the game wore on legs weren't there. Happens on back to backs. Lowry's line was the only real pushback line from the 2nd period on. Loved their goal.

I didn't like that headshot by Nyqvist in any way, and I was surprised there was no response from anyone, it was fairly obvious.

Kelly Sutherland didn't do the Jets any favours either, but let's not go there.

On to Minnesota. Next man up. Is that next man Salomonsson?
Didn’t see the game and still reading through this thread. Maybe the dman issue will see solmanson and Heinola both step up and our defense is solved!
