Your favorite song is probably a rip off of something, but you don't even know it.

Come on, there is a difference between influence and imitation....this is grossly blatant marketing of Michael Jackson's brand under a different name.

I don't have a favourite song but most of my favourite music is at the forefront of influential creations.

So this is Grammy's song of the year, what do you think?

It's a nice ballad but, there's gotta be a better choice, and no, I don't mean MIley.

The Grammy's are and always have been a joke. Mostly just Industry puppets regurgitating I-IV-V, I, I-V-vi-IV etc chord progressions (that they have carefully flooded the market with for decades) who are marketing image more than music. This is not to say that all of these performers are not talented but that many of them are not true artists as they are not even trying to create anything new. Much like social media and the popularity of vain, shallow, exploitative Influencers and the corporations that support them. The mob is generally dumb and easily manipulated and predictably flock to the Grammy's to witness the results of behind the scenes lobbying of major labels looking to add prestige to their carefully curated artists. Until the masses are able to comprehend the level of manipulation and the suppression of creativity that is being celebrated at these farcical gatherings. Real artists will continue to struggle in the shadow of Corporate America and it's mob of brainwashed minions who continue to consume it's terrible products.

Sure you don't,sure.
Seems they prioritize that English is the one and only language that makes music:help:

Look at the last few decades,I think I know only one band and one song, and these are ''the best''

Finally saw my first post Covid concert, Spiritualized at the Commodore in Vancouver. I’ve seen them 9 times and they are easily one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen.

Last night was no disappointment and it felt so invigorating seeing a show again that I just wanted to share that with the music lovers in here. Concerts were my most regular routine that I lost to Covid, feels good friends.

No links, do yourself a favour and look them up yourself. 😘

A predictable winner. I like Smoking' out the window better. But the instrumentation and the overall performance on that song stands out.

The people judging those awards are suckers for that brand of nostalgia that is 70s soul, as well as the boomers who still watch.
