OT: Music 6

Worst work week I've had in 11.5 years. Nothing bodes well. A week ago I was doing fine, excited, long term plans. Now I'm in "how f***ing soon can I retire mode". How did this shit happen...

Looking for soothing happy music that transports me away...

Cool...

Labmate of mine won a couple of tickets to both a private show by the Offspring for like 20 people and then their concert here in Chicago, and asked if I wanted to come. So today is a good day.

Private show meaning they played like 3 songs and did some QA with the radio host, but being that close to the band while they played was cool.

Just now, I woke up in my office chair, half-spent drink in hand, and the last thing I remember is a nightmare (surely it's a nightmare?!) where I was asked to sing the national anthem at a Jets game and instead I broke into "Run, Joey, Run" in front of a whole CanadaLifeCenter crowd.

And if this were an episode of the Twilight Zone, next season would kick off in the fall with Stacey Nattress belting out "Daddy, please don't; it wasn't his fault, he means so much to meeeeeeeeee"

EDIT: terrible. So, so terrible.

EDIT 2: every time I heard "suddenly, a shot rang out" I swear I hear ".. as shots are wont to do"

Har !

How did your brain reconcile that... ?

So illogical... so beyond computation and reason...

Passing out in a chair is conducive to that sort of thing...

Here's a tune in honor of your short circuit... it is Monday...

I have been blasting Ghost for a few days nonstop now. Went to their concert recently and it just kicked my ass so much. What a great band.
