Hate to say it but,....we are still fake news,..ya, for sure good to see us win, but,..Dubas just caught some breath. Pitts sucked before they met us.
We are missing 2 of our top 3 Dmen and this team is far from a finished product.
It was a solid complete game from the team no matter who they were playing. Was it perfect no but I guess someone people would rather be upset.

Murray posted a .946 tonight. Hopefully we can see it a few games in a row. Great sign though.
Indeed. 99% of what I cared about tonight was how Murray played and I am very pleased!

Shout out to whoever it was that was wondering earlier today if Murray could pass Kallgren on the depth chart. Amazing how many people wrote Murray off before the season even started and how their numbers grew massively when he got injured. We still don't know (obviously) how things are going to turn out with Murray, but we really need to give him at least a few months before even thinking about a verdict one way or the other.

GG boys, look forward to the next one. :)

I can check total number of PP opportunities on NHL.com but is there anywhere where we can check how many PPs by franchise when trailing?

The PP Leafs got tonight was meaningless but am sure it will count in the total PP so it is biased in a sense and does not represent the actual true impact on the game.

would like to see how different teams get PP and on what occasion? while leading? while trailing? this would completely once and for all put a statistical stamp on ref bias one way or another

Most solid win of the season . . . despite missing some key bodies, a really solid win from the team, and something they can build on.

BUILD on. Not gloat on . . . let's see how that goes.

I was enthusiastic about Murray's performance until after the game when Hayes pointed out his save percentage vs. the Pens compared to the rest of the league.

Glad for him and the team that he played well but I'm a long way from being convinced he's a) going to stay healthy and b) be the goalie that's capable of carrying the Leafs on a deep playoff run.

I think we would all love to give him a few months to see what he’s all about, but can he last a few months is the real question. Although he looked confused, he did make the saves.

yes we all know what players are missing. Nylander scores an open nettter. And yes we had to step up rather than step out. Did Pitts play their best game against us? Not looking for perfeeeectud( Pododys nerfect bud ) also not thinking in the mode that this is the team that can go deep. But ya nice to get a win that keeps us in the good standings ;)...for now

30 minutes into a PGT, and only 4 pages of comments.

We must have won the game.

So many trolls pretending to be Leaf fans and then of course, always those super-cynical types too. But mainly Leaf-haters posing as fans.

Like the difference in view #'s for Dangle's post-game vids. Leaf loss usually 2x/3x the viewership for a loss

This was only Murray's second ever game against Pittsburgh...don't get trapped into media takes. Also, his first game against them despite posting a .977 was actually a loss
