Not to keep white knighting FDP, but why? There were lots of rumors flying around about Rod's proclivity for married ladies.

The rumors of Lindros horn-dogging Brind'Amours former wife were bad gossip. You won't be able to find anyone close to that team who will back those rumors up, but you will find some who discredit them altogether. Those Flyers didn't much like Lindros, and my guess is that's how this was borne. Plus, you find *tons* of rumors such as this from the fans of many NHL teams...doesn't make them true.

Oh if that's what FDP was referring to then ignore what I said. My comments were about Rod's time in Carolina and stories I was told by some jersey chasing bartenders in the area.

I tended to block out any negativity surrounding Lindros when I was young, I think I still have my autographed copy of Fire On Ice laying around somewhere
