Another angle of the Loge seating.

My friend was told about 2 weeks ago that he would be getting an offer for ST's this year. He was 69th on the wait list. Yesterday when he met with his rep for the ticket agreement he was told that most people after him on the wait list would be offered half seasons in P7. He was also told that only 200 seats were made available to wait list members. With 97% seat renewal in P3 and P4 this year as well as the additional 278 Loge seats I would have thought there would have been more seats available.

Sounds to me like the Jets want to sell more seats to public versus having more STH's.

Or they offered existing STH some of the "orphaned" single seats next to them. I've heard of this happening as well.

not sure what you're talking about. there are no holes that I know of. to the left of that picture is the zamboni entrance. and all the way around the back and to the right they've removed the 'temporary' seats (first 6 rows all the way around the arena are not permanent seating). you can just see the permanent seating to the far right (row 7).

It may be down a few steps but it sticks out quite far. I will have to see it when
the season starts but it looks like it could block areas for the people that are
sitting behind. Especially the high glass area at the bottom of the steps.

Sorry i guess what i mean is that Budweiser king club massive opening in the seating it looks like its just concourse access but they are losing around 120-130 seats there so im just confused on what the budweiser king club is. Is that a bar? or just access?

It's a bar and washroom access for ticket holders to the king club only. Like a private concourse. It's the main reason those tickets are the highest priced ticket level.

So jealous of all you people getting offers to relocate. I've been in my ticket reps ear pretty good and have received zero offers.

I think though I probably shot myself in the foot as well though in that I also suggested that we'd move from P3 to P2 if the opportunity arose. I don't imagine a whole lot of folks are suggesting that so I probably got shuffled to the queue that will form following this year's renewals.

I just moved from 304 to 320 last week. Put in the request pretty much as early as I could in 2011.

We put in the request right away too...we're P5 and still haven't heard anything. I've been on my rep quite a bit too. We shall see.

Me too.... been obstructed since game 1... ticket rep just filters me to his "junk" folder.

If these new loge seats make it at all any worse ( and they just might given the pictures I've seen and where I sit and how they have to have railings for safety etc. ) .... I'm done.

Yeah, I think you're pretty much snookered if you want to downgrade a price point. I think TN is considering upgraded price point relocations first. They have tonnes of people on the wait list that will snatch up the more affordable seats, just to get in.

As soon as I got called off the wait list I joined again that same summer, just so, in a couple years, I can possibly get a pair of more modest seats. I figure this might be my only way to downgrade if I ever needed/wanted to.

I heard back in 2011 from a coworker of a friend something along the lines of "the owner wanted to hang an actual jet in the arena". I highly doubt that given the purplemonkeydishwasher-ness of it but that's about the only guess I'd have.

I got offered to upgrade my half-season P7s to a full season (I made a request in 2011), but the offer was moving back a couple rows and a section over, so I declined.
