At least it's not to a team I dislike, Nashville is a great city. PK will always be my favorite player, I'm happy for him that he gets to move on from this **** show. This is gonna hurt me for years though, I care more about this than my ex-gf.

Perplexing move. Nashville definitely wins this in terms of hockey player value. Financially Montreal wins because most of Webers contract was front loaded.

Weber looked like he slowed down a step last year.

Why did they trade Subban? Something going on behind the scenes?

I would have loved PK on the Leafs, wasn't gonna happen though.

...And then Weber is flipped for Draisaitl and 4th. Bergevin relocates in Fairbanks.

This is IDIOTIC. Webers best years are behind him, Nashville just set themselves up for contention by signing Forsberg TO A GREAT DEAL and bringing in Subban. Montreal literally just sent the Mayor packing.

PK Subban is 4 years younger and that, to me, is the most significant thing here in my opinion. That counts for a lot. During the contracts each player is in right now I see Shea Weber declining but I don't see that for PK, he's still just 27.

Plus Subban is more dynamic offensively and you can argue more versatile. I don't understand this AT ALL for Montreal.

Generally when the GM takes the side of the coach over a star player, bad things happen.
