Carrier is also garbage, but he’s Quebecois so Montreal had to get him.

Meh, allows Savard to be traded and keep a RHD vet under contract. Still think Barron will be good if he can put it together but missed too much critical development time and wouldn’t pass waivers.

Yikes, no.

Totally different style to Savard and cannot play the crease clearing role that Savard does.

Carrier is an undersized, 3rd pairing defenseman who doesn’t really make mistakes and doesn’t do anything of significance. Can log minutes for a bad team. Strong shot but rarely uses it.
