Montreal will win against Florida with Dobes in the net…

As a Panthers’ fan living in Montréal, I’m not ready for this. It’s gonna be a tough day…

It's a weird time of the year and it's a matinee to boot. No result will surprise me for this one.

I think primeau needs a reset in the ahl and then you can facilitate a deal from there. Therefore, he clears and then he eventually gets dealt.

I can't see a team giving him a direct ticket to the nhl right now. It's no exaggeration that he's arguably been the worst goalie in the nhl this season.

Primeau had a pretty good stretch last year which led Allen to be traded but he's been such a hot mess this year I just can't see anyone claiming him on their NHL team.

Showed some promise last year, but is quite easily the worst goalie in the NHL this season. His stats are 70’s expansion team ugly.

Hindsight is 20/20, but should have just kept Allen for this season, but I see why based on their play last season why they kept Primeau instead. I don’t think anybody thought Primeau would regress so badly.

I have been a Primeau believer, but he shat the bed so hard this year, no case can be made for him anymore with this team, this year. He may rebound by rebuilding his confidence and I think he can make a career (Fucale almost did and was much worse, Lindgren became a starter), but it will a winding road for him. It appears it won't be with Montreal afterall.

Good luck to him.

He needs a change of scene, I've heard his issues are more on the mental side of the game. It's crazy that he put up one of the best 18 year old seasons for a goalie in the NCAA in the last 20 years but this year it just seems like he can't stop a beach ball.

Unfortunately, when he left college after his SO season, that was in 2019. His first season in the A was very good at 33 games 2.45 GAA and .908 %. Then Covid hit, which was hard for a lot of young goalies.

This is the final season of his contract. For his sake, hopefully MTL does not QO him and allows him to find a new home. Fowler, a SO, having a great season so far at BC again. Potentially gets signed once his season is over. But, he should spend 2 full seasons in Laval in the AHL. So, would have to ensure that there is room down there for him, plus whoever else is in the A, that goalie needs to be 3rd on the Habs depth chart if one of their guys goes down. Should leave Fowler in the A in 25/26 should he sign.
