Great choiceIn 2024, we open Messorems and cook ribs (and that's exactly what I did).

Yeah and what do they accomplish when it matters? Because the two you named smoked your team despite being at the beginning of their development. I can only imagine now.hahaha this sounds like the leafs trying to force dion phaneuf to be their #1 RHD defender and captain lol
habs have a few of these contracts
will be fun watching this go=ing forward
suzuki 8mil for covid playoff run
this guy gets 8 for 20 goals on a decent 2nd half of the season I guess and Canfield get paid for scoring a few power play goals ...nice
at least our overpaid players are top of the league in scoring every year
Leafs fans are the most delusional people when it comes to hockey knowledge.hahaha this sounds like the leafs trying to force dion phaneuf to be their #1 RHD defender and captain lol

how much was the rent for that rock you were living under from January to April?Wow huge overpayment for a kid who hasn't even proved himself yet.
Career arc so far is very similar however I doubt he reaches the heights Draisaitl has. (Although very few expected it out of Drai)Exceptionally good contract, I think he is PPG+ in his prime, STEAL. congrats habs. Will age like the Leon contract
It’s SlapchopskyWe got Suzuki, Caufield and now Chad-kovsky long term, all under 8M/yr.
This is great.
I mean so far only Suzuki has earned his pay….We got Suzuki, Caufield and now Chad-kovsky long term, all under 8M/yr.
This is great.
So you surmise they just chose to give him an extra million and a half for generosity's sake? They could had him at 6 millions at 8 years. 7 millions at 8 years is wtf -esque
2 years? Preseason is only a couple months away. You give this site too much credit. In 2 years, everyone is going to come back to this thread clowning half the people that say this is a good move vs bad move.
They probably didnt want offersheets, learning from the past.So you surmise they just chose to give him an extra million and a half for generosity's sake?
Internally sure but if they go for a very big fish in UFA the levy is gonna breakKent Hughes has everyone tied to the Suzuki contract. 7.875 for Suzy. Caufield signs one year later... 7.85. Slaf signs 1 year later... 7.6
It might take a new Suzuki contract to see any forward, or any player, get signed above that number. Once we get rid of the deadwood contracts left by Bergevin, there will be a ton of space available.
This probably makes some sense according to someone.
They literally have an entire year left of his ELC?They probably didnt want offersheets, learning from the past.
