We are a tough fanbase sometimes but honestly he's the captain of this ship and deserve the trophy.

We were projected to finish at the bottom of the conference this season and Marty is the main reason why this team made it.

Nice, well deserved. Team is very resilient with him and guys love him. He will still need to learn to make proper adjustments and get the team ready earlier in the game but hopefully that comes with more coaching experience.

It's hard to say MSL deserves it more then Carbery, but he's certainly a deserving nominee. And despite what some fans think, coaching seems to be one of our strengths.

That said it's not a trophy I put much stock into, there have been plenty of nominees over the years who I thought were outright bad coaches who got nominated simply for having a goalie get hot. So I can't really use the nomination as "proof" of anything.

In a city where you’re the worst coach in nhl history if you don’t make the same exact calls the fans would every night he sure seems to be holding it together.

These kids all progressed and somehow made the playoffs. Not by grinding and playing vets over talent. Would have to dig hard to find something to bitch about the coach.

Well deserved. He’s doing a lot of stuff right “under the hood” tactically, they’re driven and didn’t lose faith, and many players improved this year (with some notable exceptions: Matheson, Newhook).
