Margot Robbie is the best Harley Quinn

And it seems nobody will ever come close to Heath as The Joker.

Yeah, I'm of the believe Harley Quin is meant to be really attractive. Margot Robbie fit that so much more. And she is also a better actress than Gaga.

Jack Nicholson is still the best Joker IMO

I'm totally with you on this one. with deference to Hamil

I watched Predestination the other night. Good sci-fi movie and it kept me engaged with the story from start to finish... but I was not expecting the couple of major twists they throw at you that made me cringe and laugh at the same time. Never seen anything like that before from a movie. I guess in a way with it's subject matter, it's a little ahead of its time.

Skirting any political commentary, I watched the Apprentice the other night. The first half was actually pretty interesting as a character development study, but it couldn't help itself from devolving into a shallow hit piece by the end.

I was dragged to see Wicked tonight. Never read the book. Never saw it on stage. i had super low expectations and didn’t totally hate it. Ariana Grande was a horrible choice, but they made up for it everywhere else. Jeff Goldblum basically just plays himself which I enjoyed. I will be dragged to see part two next year but I will agree to go a bit easier knowing what to expect. Just far too long for my old bones

Then i got home, saw Twisters was free on demand and watched as a pallette cleanser. I really enjoyed it. The first is far superior, but this is still a fun watch. I only wish i had watched in the basement with the projector and surround sound blasting, rather than upstairs on the new tv

I love the premise. Didn’t realize it was already available!

Big question though, do they question Santa’s existence or make any mention of not believing?

Edit: read more about it. Found my answer. Will have to wait a year or two until my kids see it. I hate that.

Predestination ... based on the short story "All You Zombies" by Robert A Heinlein. I have the movie on Blu-ray. I love the stories by Heinlein, a big fan of his work. I don't know how I feel about the movie as they always have a hard time adapting his stories to film. But this movie is the best adaptation of his work yet.
But you're right a couple a twists in the movie that if one hasn't read his work will throw you for a loop, but in the end leave you saying, 'I get it now.'
The books by Heinlein are much better and usually leave a person ( at least me) wanting more. Heinlein is famous for his future histories stories. A couple other books into movies, 'Starship Troopers' and 'Puppet Masters' - I wouldn't recommend, I'd rather read the books. Otherwise, many of his stories would make great mini or streaming series.
