I agree. You guys should keep him and let McDavid bounce in pucks off his ass. I see the need for a puck mover, but you can find that more easily just using youth. Move Reinhart and a 1st for a puck mover, it'll have more value than Eberle and your roster will be in better shape. If I was you I'd be avoiding Lucic big time. Sign Demers and be done with it. Cap space is really valuable. Lucic is a luxury, not a necessity.
 
I'm guessing Barrie to Edmonton for something like Nuge+ and well if the other rumours are true I have no idea

Every deal is different. Chia ripped off Ana for Maroon. So does that mean he should rip off every GM in trade (obviously not based on yesterday).The only thing worse than the Hall trade is your response.

Well that's reasonable :laugh: But still wouldn't want to get near that Weber contract when MacKinnon isn't signed. We can't lose a #1C/#1W and our #2D just to upgrade our #1D when we already have Johnson as RHD.

what awful logic. You think being "on the market" has that type of affect. As if Edmonton was like "Ya we will take the worse player because we are just so intrigued by the fact that he has not been in the NHL trade rumor mill"
