Depending on the price this move would solidify the oilers long term. As a leaf fan it makes me happy that there may be a light at the end of the tunnel for Edmonton. I hope this trade if it infact happens makes both the avs and the oilers better.

We would just protect all four. The 8 player option works fine for the oilers, we don't have more than 4 forwards that desperately need to be protected.
