you mean the guy whose been injured almost the entire season, chose to go to Russia, abandoned the organization and, just recently sat out multiple games because he had a tooth issue. Please- he's a joke and Gallant probably would lose the team entirely if he put that joke into the lineup over guys who are at least willing to put some effort on the ice.

I don't even like Kravtsov but the coach has lost the team already so what does it matter? I mean they just gave up 4 unanswered to blow a 3-0 lead on Sunday, only to come out today against their biggest rival and do the same thing again. What adjustments were made?

So trusting the vets to win games doesn't work, maybe its time they took a seat at the end of a game

Have you watched our last few games? I'd put Larry Brooks in if i thought it would end this slide.

So in a sense " reward someone whose been embarrassing just because the other guys are not good." Come on guys- you are grasping at straws. That's not your fault but if you really think Kravstov is coming in and saving this trash heap of a roster you are kidding yourself.

Coaches don't operate from desperation. They put players into the lineup they think can contribute. Gallant clearly think Krav contributes less than Sammy Blais right now.

And how's that been working out for the coach? Three horrendous losses in a row.

Right. It's not even the same roster as last year's playoffs. Copp, Vatrano, Motte, Braun, Strome. Replaced with Trocheck, Vesey, and Carpenter. 5 guys replaced by 3 and one of them doesn't belong in the NHL. Reaves is also gone. 6 guys from that team are gone. Even with those guys gone Gallant can't figure out how to get the kids more involved and develop them.

It's a personel issue but it's also a huge coaching issue. It's on the coach to figure out how to effectively deploy the players he's got and how to put together systems that suite them, and what buttons to push to get guys motivated. Gallant does none of that. What does he even do? It's like that scene from Office Space "What would you say you do here?".

Rangers have actively/purposefully ruined 4 first round picks. Andersson, Kravtsov, Kakko, Lafreniere. But, hey, it's the kids' faults, they should be finished products instantly. Why can't they score 70 points with no PP1 time and 12-15 minutes of ice time often times in the bottom 6?

We have a coach that thinks Vesey, Goodrow, and Trocheck belong in the top 6 and wonder why we are losing games in embarrassing fashion.

I know Laf has sucked but I'd move him back to top line RW and try to wake him up. That's what woke him up last season before the kid line came together. I liked the Panarin/Chytil/Kakko line and they should definitely get some more games together. Chytil/Kakko have always had chemistry and now they get a skilled left winger.

A lot of ppl are worried about the offense but I feel Trouba/Miller has been the Achilles heel this season. They are not an NHL caliber pairing this season and it has been the biggest issue on the ice.

Edit: VK74 has really let us down. I hope he's been living in the gym these past couple of weeks because it makes no sense to put him back in just to get injured again. I hope he's close to coming back.

They weren't most of last season either.

I like Miller and I even like Trouba, as individuals, but that pair f***ing rips ass and I'm sick of it.

There are no combination of lines for this roster that will fix the absolute soft as hell to play against mess this team has become this year. Plugging people here and there will do nothing. Benching them will do nothing. They are all already paid and the kids can just demand trades.

The FO, coaching staff, and the fans have no leverage over this group. It will take a miracle of hurt pride for them to snap out of it unless we are able to trade everyone.

We are just sitting here (some of us paying) waiting for them to start to care. That's all we can do since they currently don't have a pipeline of talent.

1000%. What have they done to deserve their ironclad partnership? Another example of Gallant catering to veterans who are not getting it done
 
Before I start reading here......just wanna say 2 things, maybe 3.

1. Should be interesting reading, with NO real surprises.
2. The Devils ragdolled us, and they "look like" what we should be.'
3. I haven't been this disgusted with our Rangers in 2 years.

**Extra sentiment. The Rangers remind me of a 17 yr. old boy.
They shoot their load in the first 5 minutes, and then nothing afterwards.......until they re-load for the final 2 minutes and by then it's too late, the women (fans) are bored.

They are a "talk is cheap" team. They all say the same things after games about caring and being frustrated and blah blah blah but watching pretty every game this team has played over the past 10 year, there's something really missing with the makeup of this group. Part of it has to do with the fact there's 1 player in the leadership core of this group who grew up with the Ranger organization. Theres no pride in being here, the only guys who show it on a regular basis are Fox, Lindgren Chytil, Igor (sensing a pattern?). And Kreider has basically been crushed by the weight of unreached team expectations his whole career. The rest are mercenaries who seem to have no desire to adjust their games.

I was wrong about this team after last year run. They need a new coach to give them a wakeup call first and foremost. From there we will see who actually wants to be here.

The Devils didn’t rag doll us at all. If Shesterkin didn’t play like a beer league goalie, we would have won.

You can't blame ONE player for this mess. But, I DO! If he were what we expected, would have fit like a glove......but, I digress.
Is it too late for him, for the Rangers? Stay tuned.

If watching objectively, it would be really difficult to NOT LIKE watching and enjoying the Devils. Just being honest here, and am so dang envious right now.
