North Stars/Stars-Mike Modano, Ed Belfour, Neal Broten, Sergei Zubov
Red Wings-Gordie Howe, Terry Sawchuk, Steve Yzerman, Nicklas Lidstrom

Rangers-Mark Messier, Brian Leetch, Rod Gilbert, Andy Bathgate
Senators(including first run)-Daniel Alfredsson, Clint Benedict, Alex Connell, Erik Karlsson(if only since 1992 replace Benedict and Connell with Alexei Yashin and Jason Spezza)
Flyers-Bobby Clarke, Bernie Parent, Bill Barber, Eric Lindros
Penguins-Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin
Blues-Brett Hull, Bernie Federko, Chris Pronger, Vladimir Tarasenko

Canucks-Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin, Markus Naslund, Trevor Linden
Golden Knights-William Karlsson, Jonathan Marchessault, Marc-Andre Fleury, Mark Stone
Capitals-Alexander Ovechkin, Peter Bondra, Nicklas Backstrom, Olaf Kolzig
Thrashers/Jets-Ilya Kovalchuk, Patrik Laine, Blake Wheeler, Mark Scheifele
Langways arrival turned the Capitals around and he has more hardware than 3 of those 4 guys. He's #2 easily.

Actually looking at the list further a lot of these choices are interesting. NVM.

Is there any team that is nearly unanimous when it comes to this other than the Pens?

Rocket
Beliveau
Lafleur
Roy

But you could easily do Harvey, Plante as well for instance. Morenz too perhaps.

How does one not include 99 on a list of all time great kings? He single handily made your team relevant and had the greatest single impact one person could have on a franchise
This is not a list of All-Time great Kings. He'd be #5. It's the Mount Rushmore and you can only pick 4. I put my reasons there.

Devils are easy

Brodeur
Stevens
Niedermayer
Elias

Maybe that Jack Hughes fella takes Niedermayer's spot, but not yet.

:flyers

Bobby Clarke
Bernie Parent
Eric Lindros
Claude Giroux

HM: Bill Barber, Mark Howe, John LeClair, Brian Propp, Eric Desjardins

Rod Brind’amour
Ron Francis
Jaccob Slavin
Cam Ward

There was a time when I thought Eric Staal would be a slam dunk for this, but his argument lost a lot of steam over the past few years.
At some point Aho is on here. I would’ve said Francis, RBA, Staal, Aho off the cuff but you’re right about Staal. Aho hasn’t accomplished quite enough yet either, he doesn’t really have that feeling. Slavin is similar to me. Probably belongs there and hopefully is when it’s all said and done. If he leaves after next season and we never won with him, and Pesce leaves as well that’ll be one of the bigger disappointments to me as a Canes fan. Those two deserve something for the time served.

Rangers starting five would be Lundqvist Leetch Park Messier Boucher and Cook. HM to Bathgate.
Since the Rangers don't actually acknowledge their prewar success if they were coming up with a list more likely to be
Hank
Leetch
Messier
Gilbert
Or if MSG network has anything to do with it: Mess, Leetch, Richter, Graves lol

Spread it across eras

Leafs:
Mats Sundin
- All-time point leader, second team all star a few times, one of the most recognizable captains,
Dave Keon - Four cups, a conn smythe, 2 byngs, 3rd all-time in points
Borje Salming - Toronto's best defenseman ever. 6 time all-star, multi-time norris finalist, 4th all-time in points.
Turk Broda - One of Toronto's best goalies ever, 2x Vezina winner, 3x all-star, 5x cups.

----------------

Just Missed:
Syl Apps - First calder winner ever, was always talked about as the most talented of his era, multiple cups
Ted Kennedy - Won a Hart Trophy here + Several Cups.
Johnny Bower- For sheer determination, a vezina winner, a multi-cup winning keeper.
Tim Horton - Second best d in leafs history.
George Armstrong - Longest serving captain in leafs history
Darryl Sittler - second all time in Toronto Points
Auston Matthews- Moving up in scoring, has won a hart/lindsay/calder/rockets

Yeah, the Rangers don't respect their pre-WW2 players much.

Same with Detroit. The franchise won Cups prior to the 1950's but it rarely honors or mentions pre-WW2 players.

I agree. Right now Rod is the most cemented in place and Ronnie is right behind him. Ward very well me bumped off the mountain by Aho in the very near future. Hell if Aho stays his career in Carolina he may even pass Rod unless Rod also coaches the team to a cup.
