This game I will assume would be on most peoples list. Was at the game and i'll never forget it.

I still watch these videos every few months and ALWAYS get goosebumps still!!

POST Videos of your most memorable game!!

Games 3, 5, 7 of Washington series last playoffs were nailbiters and awesome hockey.

For me, it has to be game 5.

couldn't agree more.. i was at that one too. I just remember thinking that it was over and I was so frustrated towards the end of the game getting mad about them losing, I think when he scored that game tying goal it was the loudest I had ever heard MSG

I was at Game 5 last year. I remember really, really having to take a piss and wondering if I should try to hold it or not. Just when it became unbearable, Richards scores. Not kidding.

The most memorable non-playoff game was the 6-5 OT loss to Montreal.

well, a bit more than 5 years, but game 3 vs Buffalo in the 07 Playoffs. After we had swept Atlanta I was standing most of this series vs the Presidents Trophy winners from Buffalo:

... and of course, one of the 08 reg season game vs Penguins. You know the game is good when the highlights starts With "Crosby With an empty net..." and it ends well for us (Zherdev... oh god, he was talented but no heart):

Most memorable non-playoff game for me was Bruins vs. Rangers when the Rangers scored 5 unanswered goals to keep their playoff hopes alive in 2011.

Playoff game would be Game 5 in the ECSF last year.

I have lived in DC the past 5 years. So...a lot of playoff matchups. I must say, the last 2 series wins have been SOOOOOO sweet. Although, I must give credit to last years. You can't beat a triple OT win, a 6.6 seconds to go tie and OT win. Just soo sweet.
Although this years game 7 5-0 was a pretty nice win too. :)

Most memorable game for me is Game 5 vs Washington. I was distraught about the fact that we were going to lose. My buddy kept telling me it was ok, we'd tie it. Lo and behold we did. The roof almost came off the building, I ended up hugging the guy behind me for a solid 3-5 minutes event though we had barely talked the entire game.

Others are the Zherdev game and 11/14/06 vs the Devils. I know that's almost 7 years ago but coming back from 2-0 down against the Devils and scoring 3 goals in 90 seconds vs Fatso is something I'll never forget.

Nothing tops what was said already, off the board: Malik's SO winner in 2005.

Regular season: I'm going to go off the board a little & say last year vs. the Red Wings.

Richards coast-to-coast to tie it, followed by the OT winner by Callahan. Beating Detroit holds extra weight to me no matter how good they are.

Postseason: Game 5 vs. WAS last year, of course.

Honorable mention: Game 1 of that series a.k.a. the Chris Kreider show.

We don't know how Kreider's NHL will turn out right now. But I don't think I ever heard a rookie get a bigger cheer for their first goal at MSG than Kreider in that game. The love that was showered on him for breaking the tie early in the 3rd, followed by the roar upon hearing his name after his primary assist on Richards' goal shortly thereafter was incredible. I couldn't stop rewinding the DVR to see those plays after the game ended. I'm a man but I literally shed a small tear of pure joy for the youngster.

I believe that MSG was chanting his name during that game.

The winter classic was the happiest I've been after a regular season game probably.

I was ecstatic last year when we beat Boston in or first game with them, when they were supposedly unbeatable. That win was soured though because we were all freaking out about McDonagh.

I think you are referring to the Washington game where McDonagh did a toe drag and pulled something.

Dont normally post, but now that I think about it, that is the happiest I've ever been after a game.
EDIT: the pittsburgh game i mean

In my mind, that game was the start of the identity of this team. Whether or not we would have become te team we are now identity wise, that was the defining moment.

It was already mentioned... but this game. Leading 1-0 forever, Pitts going up 2-1 late in the third and expecting the loss. Lundqvist throwing his stick at the refs, Pitts fans... awesome.

I'm not really a Doc Emrick fan, I don't hate him but I'm not a huge fan either. But you have to hand it to him, that call on the Richards goal is great and the one on the Staal goal is even better "Walked on now Staal a shot SCAAAOOOOORRRRRESSSS!!!" followed by a full minute of no talking just crowd and goal song. That was awesome.

No, McDonagh was boarded in our first game against Boston last year. I don't remember the specifics but it looked like a concussion. I think gabby scored the game winner in OT if that helps.

I do remember the toe-drag injury though. Macs an iron man evidently.
