Which prospect received the most hype/buzz around the NHL world. (After that we will place Slaf, Bedard and Celebrini)

Don't be biased with the player's career. And I'm talking at the draft, not at 16 years old.

So far:

1- Sidney Crosby (136/235 - 57.9%)
2- Connor McDavid (116/138 - 84.1%)
3- Alexander Ovechkin (99/204 - 48.5%)
4- John Tavares (94/155 - 60.6%)
5- Auston Matthews (47/140 - 33.6%)
6- Rasmus Dahlin (44/104 - 42.3%)
7- Steven Stamkos (58/187 - 31,0%)
8- Alexis Lafrenière (38/83 - 45,8%)
9- Nail Yakupov (30/100 - 30,0%)
10 - Jack Hughes (27/67 - 40,3%)

I'm curious why you're only listing players from the last 20 years? Lemieux, Lindros and Daigle would easily be in the top 5, never mind Lecavalier and Kovalchuk.

Imo not having Bedard as an option earlier is a massive failure by OP. Should have easily been top 4 yet he will probably be in the late teens or twenties lmao

I think the most recent picks will be slotted in after. They’re not being left out

Not sure why op chose to do it that way but whatever

I think now is time for MacKinnon

It was thought Seth Jones might go 1OA in his draft year, he was never really undisputed 1OA - there was a heavy top 4 at the time - Drouin/Jones/Barkov/MacK

A couple years before his draft year - MacK was pretty hyped

I started that in 2021-2022, so they were not pick. I was at the 6-7th position, so it was too late to insert them.

I will insert them shortly. The top 6-7th was made in 2021-2022 so I didn't know they were 1st overall yet, they were not drafted!

Because that's where I started to "scout" a little bit more and follow that for real. I didn't knew where to cut off so it was there. After the Fleury goalie taken #1.
