I watched the clip, I thought it was hard to tell what happened (no slomo)
To me the fact the the first thing McCabe did was reset his visor indicates that the knee came down on it and put it out of line. Surely none of the punches thrown landed that hard.

Are they talking about the left knee or right knee?

Because no matter how hard I look at it the left knee doesn't appear to make contact with the head. The right knee is hidden by the bodies but it doesn't appear to have smashed McCabe either. I doubt Hathaway will face supplementary discipline because it neither looked deliberate or that the knee even made contact with the head.

Looks to me like McCabe is already out in these pictures and Hathaway wasn't even on top of him yet.

McCabe's injury with Hathaway was simply an unfortunate incident. No need for Reaves to do anything on this one. I'd rather have hockey players in the roster anyway.
McCabe poked the bear and paid dearly for it. If the knee to the gut was intentional then shame on Hathaway and he deserves to get his face caved by Reaves.

Is Mo still the worst defenceman of all time, who has a horrible muffin shot, never shoots, and can't hit the net?

Asking for a fiend.
