Most games before getting your first point of the season?

I see that defenseman Ryan Graves on the Penguins has played 31 of his team's 44 games so far and still hasn't registered a point. I wonder what the record is for most games before scoring one's first point of the season?

I doubt it's the record, but in 83-84 Jim Kyte didn't get a point until his 40th game.

ken baumgartner is the only player to ever play 80+ games in a season and record only one point. he played the full 82 for the 1998 bruins.

that point, an assist on a mike sullivan goal, was in game 73. don’t know if that’s the record but has to be up there.

Tyler Wright went 0 for 61 for the Pens in the late 90s at some point. Maybe not the top of the leaderboard, but probably ranks.
