This game is desperately needing Benson's style too ... which makes it all the more frustrating.

I'm honestly somewhat hoping he has a little nagging injury or something, otherwise this is a bad sign of things to come.

Most teams would have figured out Joker doesn’t fit with anyone and isn’t a top 4 D at some point in the last three years.

Here's the thing ... what's the alternative? Samuelsson is honestly a worse disaster with Dahlin and craters his possession big time. Joki might be the lesser of two evils. There's just no way to construct this defense without one sub-par combination. Byram-Jokiharju as a pairing would get run over.

That's the issue with Jokiharju with Dahlin - Dahlin has to be the cover.

I think a shuffle is necessary, if for no other reason than to let Dahlin play his game.

Swap someone for Tuch on top line. Greenway has been a road grader creating possession and chances. Tuch has been killing everything

Weird how many issues are rooted in the roster construction. Things that are glaringly obvious to everyone who isn’t a GM somehow in year five of his plan.

Another thing I noticed is that so many of our guys are still terrified to shoot the puck. Especially, Quinn, whose job is to shoot.

If one pairing has to be ass, I'd prefer it's not the top pair that plays the most minutes and has our best weapon on it. Let the second or third pairing be ass.
