I was joking. I assume this was previously discussed as a one off to get Kulich a look in the top 6 while also giving him the experience to play in Czech.

Still have to think Benson not out for warmups is some sort of physical thing and not Lindy losing all of us over that decision on level of play.

Game wasn’t as lopsided as score looks

At five-on-five, the Sabres ended up with a 56-37 advantage in shot attempts, 26-18 advantage in scoring chances and a 10-5 advantage in high-danger chances. Lindy Ruff said he thought the Sabres had some nerves early and didn’t bury their chances, while the Devils finished on theirs and made it tough for the Sabres to get back in the game. But again the Sabres learned how challenging it is to play from behind in the NHL.

I love Benson but it makes sense to not play the 19-year old in a game that starts 18 hours after the previous one.
