Sportsnet during the panel they indicated Greig may have done it because McCabe knocked him down shortly before he scored.
That could be the case, but that doesn’t justify slapshotting into the empty net

Put it in and go celebrate like a normal person, f*** celebrate it like you won the Stanley cup, you’ll have leafs fans salty and clowning you, but it’s what a normal person does

If you be an ass then you put yourself in these situations

I watched the game.

Sens are playing a tight game.

Bunch of leaf fans in the crowd... (too many)

Greig is showing some emotion.

No harm done.
I'm willing to bet it could be any 2 teams and that will get the same reaction

Loser points aside Toronto has one more regulation win than Ottawa with 2 more GP LMFAOOO

You'll be with us soon
Yes, let’s ignore real points that the league counts as well as the last how many times Ottawa has been near the bottom of the standings.

You got me man. This is the quality of banter I’d expect from an Ottawa fan. Enjoy your team.

Oh I'm definitely enjoying it tonight!

It'll be, deservedly so, a five game suspension.

He was trying to injure him with going for his head and, yes, it was brutal. Not sure what's going on in people's head trying to downplay cross checking a player in the head as anything but that. It's a brutal and ugly play.

If what Rielly did was showing "emotion" then so is what Greig did beating a rival team.

Nah, he was definitely wrong, but Reilly decided to make himself even more wrong.

I agree with you. I'd have wanted a sens player to act if the roles were reversed

But going for the head with your stick after the play is a slam dunk suspension
yup a good ankle hack and get into his face would have been more proportional
