Geekie has a rocket for a shot. Given the chemistry he has shown with 88, I think if both stay healthy he absolutely can score 30 next year.

Don't see Geekie camp agreeing to that. He's played himself into a 6.5 mil per year plus deal with term, anything longer than 2 years.

I'm not paying him 6 million I am the Bruins ...5.5 max or somebody else is next to Pasta

But they don't HAVE to give him a long term deal. That's a fact. A Bridge allows him to prove himself as being consistent.

I'm not saying I want to give Geekie 8 years, but I also don't want to sign a 2 year deal, especially if we are talking about 6 million. The deal needs to be 4-5 years. 6 million in the 2028 salary cap, is nothing like 6 million in the 2017 cap

I m not giving him a 4 million per raise longterm if I am the Bruins.Thats a huge increase based off 1 season lined up next one of best players on planet.

I loved Jake when he was here and defended him often but 5.5 is too much for what he brings, it's perfect for Geekie, but everything is inflated now so I expect him to get over 6 because of contracts like Debrusk's


I say they give him the 6.3 Marchand rejected and let Brad ride out his days with a tan.

My favorite thing is eating crow—I didn’t believe in him at the start of the season but man has he blown out expectations.

His shot percentage should come down to earth but him gaining chemistry with Pasta should lead toward a fairly sustainable point production. It’s nice to see someone on the fringe blossom.
