Again I hope they sign Geekie on a 3-5 year deal

Rather Geekie over Frederic anyday .Way better shot & he fits with Pasta .

I think he gets 5 million for 4 or 5 years. He is a third liner, but he puts forth a good, consistent effort. He also brings a bit of shooting ability which they certainly lack. He will be slightly overpaid, but its not my money.

Throw in two good top 6 players with Zacha, Pasta, Mittelstadt and Geekie and I think they're playoff contenders again as long as the defense and goaltending are healthy and playing up to their capabilities.

Might be worth breaking him and Pastrnak up just to see how much he can drive a line. We know he can compliment that one real well.
