And he’s on pace for ~7 points this year. While I don’t think Frost has meaningful value, I also think Robertson has little to no value at all. Probably way less thsn Liljigren.

Frost will never reach his potential with Johnny T as the coach, he wants him to play as a 250 pound old man. And that’s not his skill set.

Flyers’ center depth is putrid and trading Frost might be enough to make them a cellar dweller. That is good for those on the tank bandwagon. Frost is a bit of a goldenboy on hfboard flyers but I’d move him for a 2nd or better. I just don’t think he’s going to become anything that moves the needle for the Flyers. If he gets traded and becomes a 60 point center, good for him. I hope he succeeds but I don’t think he fits in as a valuable piece in the Flyers future
To be fair... Robertson's work ethic hasn't really been a question... especially this year.
That being said, I'll throw a new name out into this thread... Pontus Holmberg + the 3rd they got for Liljegren.
Gives Philly a guy that has shown a little bit of upside, and can play C. Even though they are currently pretty deep into the Marlies cupboard right now, they do have too many forwards if they all manage to get healthy, so you'd need to move at least 1 if adding a guy like Frost.
From the Leafs perspective, Holmberg's value seems to have found itself as "the guy that can play most positions without being a problem".... but doing nothing spectacularly well. He started tonight as the 2nd line centre.
If you're adding Frost, he obviously becomes a great partner for Nylander on a 2nd line today, and maybe an opportunity for Tavares to play on the wing if Minten can cement himself as a 3rd line C.
Maybe the Leafs can get Philly to retain on his contract so as to allow them to still "big game hunt" come deadline for a Granlund or Brock Nelson.

If you are adding Frost he's the 3rd line center, unless you can get a Granlund or a Nelson but even if you can't a healthy top 9 of.

looks pretty damn good to me.
If you're adding Frost, it 100% needs to be because you think you can build him into the team's #2C. He's too skilled (and a little bit guilty of being a pass-first player) to be successful with Domi & Pacioretty; and then still leaves you without a real shutdown option other than Matthews.
He's an ideal partner for William Nylander; and probably the key to being able to split the big 3 onto 3 separate lines.
He would be the future 2nd line center, but the key word there is future.
You don't make him the #2 center this year Tavares has been WAY to good there to move him out of that spot.
Ideally he becomes the 2C next year.
Ultimately... Tavares has succeeded with both Marner & Nylander. I think the Leafs need to get away from this numbering of lines to an extent... and just have 3 really good lines, driven by 3 really good pairs... Tavares-Marner, Matthews-Domi, and Frost-Nylander.
I'd be up for those pairs if Domi was playing like he did last year.
Problem is he's not even close the man does not have a point in 12 games, and he's been in the top 6.
I know the skill is there, I saw it last year.
This year he's the co pilot on the struggle plane next to Robertson.
