Yes, a necro bump. Anyone who looks back a page (page 6) can see that you necrobumped the thread on Mar 2 after almost two months of inactivity (post 133), then when only one person responded you necrobumped it again a few days ago. The main reason this thread gets 'regular updates' is because of you. Meanwhile there's no legitimate reason for the updates, there are like ten games left in the season obvi Bedard won't catch Sid this year in points (which is the actual topic of the thread), and there are other Bedard threads that you're active in.

Anyway, your claim you didn't necrobump the thread is false, that's not a bad faith argument, it's a lie. And an easily verifiable one to anyone who literally just wants to click back one page. And your continued repeated claim that I "just can't stop talking about [you] lol" is also a lie, probably it is with crow as well given his reaction. Lastly, I'm not salty (why would I be?), like I already told you multiple times I find your posts amusing

You're right on one thing I guess -- this thread is a poll for the current season, at some point pretty early on it became obvious that Crosby would finish with more points than Bedard. So then the thread went dormant because the answer to the poll became obvious. Later, you decided to resurrect the thread multiple times. That's literally what the word 'necrobump' means, despite your best attempts to pretend otherwise.

And sure, let's get back on topic. Sid will finish this season with more points than Bedard.

I think that if healthy he is in the 90s and it's a toss up scoring wise this year between the 2 guys.....good poll.

McDavid

Lindros did as well, though I'm not sure I'd put him in the truly generational tier, mostly because of injuries.

Lindros was more so in that generational tier than Crosby and would have went down well above Crosby if not for injuries

I mean, Crosby better relative to the league from 18-26 than Lindros was from 19-26 (his Flyers years). I’m not sure if there’s much argument he would have been well above him.

I think with as bad as the Blackhawks are, and the fact that Bedard is still 13th all time in most points by a teenager in NHL history bodes well for him. He just passed Kovalchuk on that list and he was pretty decent. The only player ahead of him that kind of flamed out the rest of the way was Bobby Carpenter.

Bedard will be just fine, he will definitely need some help from the front office to bolster this lineup though, they just can't put Bedard on the ice and immediately start winning.
