How is this russian bum not the favorite? By their own logic last year goals matter more than points. Kucherov the russian bum is scoring more goals per game and assist per game over Mack. One guy is putting himself consistently in the cateogory with the greatest of all time Gretzky and the other guy isn't even the best guy on his own team Makar is. If Mackinnon was Russian and Kucherov was Canadian this wouldnt even be a debate.

Apparently according to the bias canadians he is a bum though and isn't more domiante scoring more points than mack per game at a position harder to create offense from the wing. Dont forget Kucherov also put himself into the category with Gretsky prior with back to back 30 plus point playoffs leading his team. Mackinnon has yet to enter a category with an all time great but was the mvp for some reason. What a scrub he is putting himself in the same category as one of the greatest three different ways

Last year mackinnon had more goals . Kucherov had 44 goals last year and 100 assists and I can’t recall how many more empty net points which watered down the 4 point difference

Mackinnon had 51 goals 89 assist for 140 with less empty net points voters always give the “tie” to more goals.

Started slowly after re-habbing from an injury suffered in last years WC. If he had been healthy from start Boston may not have sold off and IMO been in a PO spot.
