Vincent going full Maurice though. 7 points in 3 games for Perfetti? Drop him to the third line and give him less talent to play with.
Hellebuyck was bad, but the great if the Jets were pretty good.In a night where the Jets fold like a cheap suit to the blowing leaves, it's nice to see the Moose competing.
Really..... dumb decision unless he was given marching orders to play the taxi squad guys a lot to get rid of rust.

EDIT: Figured it out.
Hey that's pretty good Perfetti.
Berdin called up, Comrie sent down. Probably just so Comrie can get in a game.
Toninato bumps Perfetti on our development team... haha oh Jets
Really nice to see Perfetti adapt and kind of find the next level here (he says just scoreboard and highlight watching).
Yep. And in his case the scoreboard and highlights are a pretty accurate guide to how well he's adapted and how quickly he learns, IMO. Like Heinola he doesn't seem to make the same mistake twice, and you can see (as in the goal upthread) just how far he's able to think ahead of the play, how quickly he spots openings. how hard he works on the boards, how well he can protect the puck and either run with it or pass it off, and how deceptive he is as a skater and shooter. I honestly think that if you were to sit down and chalkboard the right play at the right time while Perfetti is on the ice you'd end up where he does most of the time.
Crappy as the product has been at times I don't regret a cent of the 30 or so clams of this year's AHL pass.
I've been impressed with Perfetti and I think he'll be a good NHLer; maybe very good. But I don't think he's ready to make a real impact at this stage, except maybe on the PP.
I give him a game down the stretch when we rest players so that he knows how fast and hard the NHL level is. But I agree that he is likely not ready to really contribute this year at the NHL level and they should keep doing what they are doing with his development.
Yes, I agree. Not looking for him to start dominating the the NHL level this year but he has absolutely earned a chance to get his cup of coffee with his play and hard work this season. I also think of it as a reward more than an opportunity to write his name in lights -- and of course we've seen it before with the org.

Cup of coffee notwithstanding. I would guess he will need another full season of development at a minimum.
You don't seriously think Maurice is going to rest guys... when has he ever done that?I give him a game down the stretch when we rest players so that he knows how fast and hard the NHL level is.
