It wasn't really a bone crushing hit. He just knocked Silverberg off his feet at the center of the ice but he wasn't going at full speed

I think eller is close to be done in MTL

I never thought he was really ready when we got him anyways. Should have spent that year in the AHL. We also didn't really develop him well but what can you do? Never liked the deal because I wanted a more established player.

I still think he could be good on another team playing with 2 capable wingers.

He's got a metal plate in his face. He also got injured in the face area in KHL recently. Not sure what happened whether it was a puck to the face or whatnot.

Did MT ever say anything about Eller on AC? Because you can tell he's definitely not a fan.

Not sure. That shows kills brain cells, so I avoid it it whenever I can. I really respect MAG though, and what he said about Therrien and Eller spoke volumes, IMO.

If they can get something good for him now, I'd do it. Seems to me Therrien came in disliking Eller. Likely won't work out here.

Definetly not is kind of player, if we could package Eller in Weber for a top 9 winger, it could be a good thing

Agreed, it was a mistake playing him in the NHL that first year.
