I agree this should be our d-squad come playoffs time. Having Gilbert as an extra is nice, but that's a lot of money for an extra.

Even Emelin on the bottom pairing is not really cost-effective. But at least it's not that bad. I remember when we had Gomez on the 4th line.

When you're saving 3+ million in net with Price at 6.5 and having Beaulieu making basically nothing in the top 4 it's not a big deal to spend that much on the bottom pairing and as an extra.

this agreement with sportsnet n the nhl really sucks. Here in northern ontario we are forced to watch Pittsburgh n Columbus. The Habs game is blacked out

Does anyone know if they have televisions at Brutus Bar ? Going there tonight.

They were featured in a piece from Oct. last year about new bars showing Habs games. However:

Brutus Bar

1290 Rue Beaubien Est, Montréal, QC H2S 1T9

Montreal’s now infamous Bacon Bar, with almost all menu items featuring, you guessed it, bacon, is a super cool spot and plays Habs games, but only Sunday through Wednesday.

Don't know if they've changed since.

Why are RDS showing so many talking heads during the pre-game skate? Just roll the whole time with the skate, it's fun to watch them warm up. Friggin' clueless bozos.

I don't put alot of stock into what stock believes especially when it comes to the habs.

I just get a sense that when he talks about the habs, that he has an axe to grind. It seems as though PJ still takes some subtle jabs at the team.

That's my perception, anyways.

Because Tinordi is not an NHL player, has not proven it yet

And how is he supposed to prove it by sitting in the press box?

Is Pateryn a NHL player? In his conditioning stint, he went -6 through 3 games. Yet he looks pretty solid as a NHLer since he got in the lineup.

He's openly admitted on air, during his time on TSN 690, that he dislikes the Habs and will go out of his way to make fun of them, just to rustle the jimmies of Habs fans. Whether he takes that mantra into his new job, I don't know.
