Expected loss. Didn't watch the game because I was at a Christmas party. See I do have a life.

Great play by Guhle on Suzuki's goal.

Currently drafting 9th.

If Vancouver can pick up a point versus Winnipeg, we're in 8th.

If Preds can pick up 2 pts tonight versus Colorado, we move to 7th.

Arizona is tied 2-2 with Buffalo in 3rd. If they win, they're 4 pts back with 2 games in hand.

We could easily be bottom 4 by New Year's.

Their record was not what they had hoped
They were losing more than they had scoped
They couldn't seem to find their groove
And their struggles only seemed to move

From one game to the next, they tried their best
But the puck just wouldn't find the net
Their opponents seemed to have the upper hand
As the team's morale began to disband
Ah, do I detect a “wordsmith “ !

can we all agree Matheson is suspect at both ends of the ice, expensive, but he skates really well and doesn't bring much to a young team? Wonder if he would have value to Edmonton or someone going for a playoff run rather than here.

With us regressing back to being a basement team and Barkov getting injured tonight(sorry Florida fan), I might have some wet draft dreams tonight:oops:

So what's with the sausage fest on SN? No Jennifer today? No Cassey? These guys are trying to be cure and crack jokes but are so lame.

Lamer than the women they employ? That would be tough to do, the entire crew of men and women are terrible.

I hope. It was the first game vs Tampa. And we didn't played the Brrruins. The hardest part of the season is coming and we are missing Moneyhand, Savard and Gally. We are going to sink. There is no hope with Hoffman, Drou, Armia, Evans Dado and few others. We are going to tank book it !
LOL! Atta boy Gally? Nobody cares about the scrub, he’s irrelevant.

Expected result. I was laughed at when I said this is a bottom 2 team last month. As good as Suzuki is, he was never going to maintain the 100 pts pace. And our schedule was super easy. Bergevin left the worst depth this team has ever seen. Depth wise at the forward position, we are the worse team in the league (even worse than Chicago). I think you have a full line pacing for 0 goals on the year and another one pacing for less than 10.

Worst players today:
1. Edmundson
2. Caufield
3. Suzuki

Slaf is improving but he is losing the puck too often. Often on blue line.

It’s pretty ugly. We have a handful of guys trying to play themselves out of the league. The team defence from forwards to defenders is atrocious. The goaltenders are bleeding goals they shouldn’t, specifically Allen. The team has been carried almost solely by Suzuki and Caufield with a few other youngsters doing what they can which is at least encouraging. But there’s a mountains worth of work to be done with this team.

3 kids account for 95% of the team offense, Hugo did not really have a game plan this year either. I'm not sure why anyone would knock Suzuki, he is a legit 80+ pt player on a decent team no question. 3rd and 4th lines are a mess, no quick fix for that,

Suzuki way worse than caufield even with the goal, Suzuki has not been good for many games now.

In fact i don’t think Caufield was bad, he just didn’t have the puck on his stick enough

But at least he tried and worked to keep the puck in the zone (often wouldn’t work because of Anderson) and tried to create things the little time he had the puck on his stick.

Anderson worse than both and the reason that line wasn’t working even a little.
