I was hoping at the very least they wouldn't be able to identify Dorner so we could speculate about what happened and the LAPD could live in fear that he's alive for the next 50 years.

Wow...

Oscar Pistorius killed his girlfriend? What a horrible end to a feel good story.

Eller, Cole and Desharnais all have been way, way better. The others have been MIA. But Bourque is visibly giving much less effort than he usually does tonight. I can recall of at least 4 or 5 puck battles he lost very, very easily, without second efforts.

Alright, I'll give you that one as far as Eller and Desharnais go. Cole maybe, but I still see Bourque creating more chances, playing better positionally, and putting in just as much effort as Erik the Elderly.

I don't know how I feel about the Panthers being in our division. Who do the fans think think they are coming here and being all civil. You need hatred within the division and it is hard to dislike these standup folks.

except the charred remains would have been another innocent person :(
Wouldn't that justify Dorner's point that the LAPD are murderous thugs?

I just drafted Drouin, Risto, Zykov, Zadorov, Lazar, Sorensen and barkov with CBJ

How do you feel tankers ?
I have no idea who those people are but they gotta get some good ol' Canadian names quick. What's with the Z's. Sheesh.

Bourque had nice chances in close and he was well positioned to deflect shots/passes. But in 1 on 1 races to the puck and board battles, he doesn't look nearly as effective to me. Maybe it's fatigue, maybe it's the whole Florida trip that doesn't make him a lot of good, but he's not the beast he was in the first few games out there, at least from what I see.

:whaaa?:

I think it's been pretty damn good. Good defensive goalie battle with a lot of big hits. Both goalies are playing out of their minds.

Agreed with you there. Both teams are playing their defense pretty tight defensively. But both also got strong scoring changes on their own; goalies are doing pretty well so far - Theo more than Price -.

Poor guy you need to watch more hockey:laugh:

The fact he is entertained by what he sees doesn't make him poor in any way. It's been enjoyable for those who appreciate good defensive hockey and tactical play. Not the most exciting game, but it's in no way a "crappy" game out there.
