Brunet admitting he doesn't know the habs players in the minors... Ouch. How hard is it to keep track of 20 guys? If I was on tv I would know every prospect of every team by heart.

He looked pretty good for me so far

Hey... I'm biased so it doesn't count. I'll try my best not to comment on him for the rest of the game.

Go Habs Go !

I don't understand why Therrien decided to remove Dumont from Eller's line. He's got offensive potential that's for sure.

Worst news of them all.....I wished Boston would have picked up Morrow and thinks they'd be fine with him compared to Iginla....CLEARLY, Iginla will be MUCH more valuable to a team than Morrow will be....now watch Morrow score in the 2nd....

RDS guys having trouble admitting habs might be contenders this year. According to them, the bruins HAVE to make a move to be on par with pens abd keep their chances, but habs of course should wait, always wait, not sacrifice anyone, blabla...

Halpern is a great fit, even if he doesn't fight. All of our lines have looked good when it comes to possession, we just need some finish.

I wouldn't want to sacrifice one of our top prospects for a rental a la Morrow. We also have 3 2nd round picks and 2 3rd round picks if we want to trade for a guy like Clowe.

They're only booing Subban because they know what he can do to them.

Halpern looks great. I think he's motivated to play well since we're bound for the playoffs. Has to be a good feeling to get picked up by a team like the Habs.

Especially since winters comin to an end

theres NO place better than montreal spring/summer and were in contention, you can smell it in the AIR

New yorks a great city and everything, but once spring comes around were BACK baby!

Somehow, this half of a season will not be considered as a legitimate one. I know...a cup is a cup, yet, I can tell you that in here, if Boston wins it...we will all mention how it wasn't a real season to begin with anyway. With that in mind...I do prefer to not make sudden and stupid moves for the possible chance of winning it all this year. Doesn't mean not improving....but CLEARLY it doesn't mean giving 2 2nd round picks for freakin Murray either....

Great 1st period, but I must admit that I'm a bit surprised that Halpern is hitting that much. I don't remember him being physical at all in his first stint here.

I think my memories of Halpern got mixed with Metropolit at some point. He's bigger and more gritty than I remembered. Still fast enough as well. Good pick up, he's more useful than Blunden anyways.
Way back when Halpern was a young dude and I was a middle schooler and Caps fan, he was part of one of the better checking lines out there: Konowalchuk-Halpern-Dahlen. Kono was the grittiest, but Halpern wasn't soft by any means. It would be interesting to see if he gets to play with Prust.

They're probably booing Subban because he's not theirs.

"Oh wow, this guy looks flashy! HEY WAIT A MINUTE?! Why didn't Bettman gift-wrap this one to us. This is outrageous! RAW RAW RAW RAW RAW!"

Whatever the outcome of the game will be, I think the habs just showed they can outplay for 20 mins arguably the best team in hockey right now. The future is indeed pretty good.
