Could be worse...we could be like the people on the Rangers board and ***** about the ice quality as a reason for playing poorly lol.

Now they're at the point of discussing science and talking about how the ice is located on the 5th floor and the heat from the subway station just below the ice rises and causes the Rangers to play bad  #excuses4dayz

Enough about Desharnais, unless he's notable in the game. Non-game commentary belongs in the appropriate thread.

(and please spare me the built-in joke: "If he was notable in the game there wouldn't be a problem...")

I honestly don't even think he's been that bad lol, I haven't been paying attention to him either though

If he was notable in the game there wouldn't be a problem...

As someone earlier said, no amount of whining will change the Habs roster.

He's too small to be effective, he's not a goal scorer. He has a lot of flaws.

It just gets tiresome reading post after post where people are complaining about him.

That's all.

Especially since we have a pretty **** roster forward wise. He's not our worst problem. We have Galchenyuk, Patch, Plekanec, Gallagher... after that... it's not great up front. Eller is pretty inconsistent and his hockey sense is iffy at times, DD is small, weak and sometimes isn't willing to give the 150% effort he needs to give to be successful.... Sekac is great but still green and he's not been as noticeable lately. Prust and Weise aren't top 9 guys in an ideal world.

Preferably someone who is :

-Loved by RDS
-Speaks french
-Small

All 3 ? Holy crap... watch out

Its not about hating someone for the sake of hating someone

Its about pinpointing the biggest problems on your team, singling them out, and praying the actual people in charge can also see it, correct the problem, and make the team better. Of course were all armchair GM's but at least we all want to improve the TEAM, we'll some of us anyway

They day DD is gone, of course it won't be one big happy family on the habs board until the end of time, its very quite easy to pinpoint who the next scapegoats are :

Emelin
Paranteau
Gallagher (you'll see... were terrible fans...)

He's part of the team. This message board is filled with Habs fans. Fans is short for fanatics. It's their nature to debate the current roster including strengths and weaknesses. Calling debate of player performance and ability whining is actually the only problem here.

I'd worry more about acquiring a top 6 RW than dropping DD.

Never said DD is slacking it up

Thats actually the most tragic part of the whole thing : he gives his 110% and it still doesn't do anything for us

But whatever, people get affected too easily, I'm not going to worry about some fan in the states when I root for my team in my hometown surrounded by a bunch of bandwagoners :)

Even the quebecers can't take it anymore

I wasn't implying you said that. Merely that some posters were.

He's asked by coach to perform responsibilities that are beyond his abilities. That's all.

Forgetting a small little detail. Both teams play on the same ice. Shocking.

If this becomes a rule on HF I will need to find another Habs board to post on. :sarcasm:
