My system picked NJ to win first period and to win in regulation. I suspect I'll get a push on regulation and the Habs will win in OT 3-2. Hopefully.

I figured a new coach would at least give the team a motivation boost, but it's been a rough start so far under Julien... :shakehead

Of course the Subban fan boys blame Weber on that when Pleks was soft as butter and Markov is skating around in circles looking for his AARP membership.

Bro weber did a desperation, impossible to catch lob pass off the boards because he was about to get beat. Was terrible.

I agree, Plekanec should have batted the puck in mid air out of the zone. Poor decision.

Shea looks petrified when the puck is on his stick, how disappointing, that 'intense' stare of his quickly turns to fear. sad.

Panic... Panic!!!!

Beaulieu had the puck twice, ages to shoot or make a play, pressure on the Devils.... first time with a soft wrister second time misses the net. Still waiting for this guy to tap into his potential or do something note-worthy.

snoozefest.. And people were blaming MT..

Took a long time to play this poorly. Will take some time and player turn over.

I for one am not watching a game where an NHL team can actually put DD, Plekanec, Andrigetto, Mitchell, Montoya all in the same line up AND too boot....are playing the friggin New Jersey Devils.

Exactly, NHL players can usually that. It's not pee wee

WTF Plek was not even remotely close to being open on that play.
People want to talk about knowing hockey yet this is basic stuff.
I'm not a huge fan of Plek and his lack of board play but you can't try to pass that puck to that player at that moment.

How does this have anything to do with a former player? Is that how you can turn your head and act like that didn't just happen? That was a brutal outlet pass that caught everyone flat footed, no one thought that pass was coming.

What are you talking about maaaan? You see the same freaking play 20 times a game!

The defender is in the corner gets pressured by the forechecker and he slides the puck along the board for a teammate! Plekanec was weak on that puck and then Markov makes a weak play also and the puck is in the net!

Weber's failed clearing has nothing to do with being a Subban supporter and everything to do with Weber's failed clearing attempt.

This is NOT the place to talk about PK Subban. Cut that out, or risk getting a thread ban / infraction. We have a thread for that if you must talk about him. Or wait until the GDT on Thursday.

Weber is not the issue on this team, the issue is a forward corps playing like a bunch of cupcakes outside of 67 and maybe 47/27
