2 D and the center behind the net vs. 2 preds leaving the slot open after losing puck battle. Kind of like the opposite of hockey 101.

Those are the kind of plays that should have people's ***** stapled to the bench...

Douglas Murray gets beat to the puck.
Douglas Murray loses battle along the boards.
Puck in the back of the net.

Sigh...

You probably should blame Eller on that one. He should have picked up the better Bourque. Who was wide open

Great narrative to blame Murray though

Don't think the Nashville lineup has scored 3 goals in a game all year.

Whatever the case it's now 3-1 and this team can't generate a lot of shots while it's caught in its own zone. Need another goal or two to make me breathe easier. Habs are always content to use one good period to win a game and hang on for dear life in the other two :help:

I still don't see how Tinordi could be worse than Murray or Bouillon.

I wish Drewiske would hurry up and get healthy. He'll be better than both of them.

PS. Not blaming that goal on Murray. I think the center was a bit slow getting back to the slot. Not that it matters, the whole team is playing like crap again.

Yeah, totally.

Murray losing the battle that resulted in the puck coming out for that shot was a non factor.
Neither was Diaz covering an already covered, despite poorly covered, player.

Great narrative to blame Eller though.

Eller was just as much to blame as Diaz and Murray. He went into the corner where there was a puck battle with two Habs there (Diaz had the other guy cut off). The guy in the slot was wide open and Eller was the third man in.

Eller isn't perfect, even if he's awesome.

He wouldn't be but his development might take a hit if he plays the same amount of ice time in average than these 2 for an extended period of time.

Murray took the guy with the puck. The slot was wide open and people still blame Murray for that??
