This team is missing gorges taking pucks to his body all game. He's a perfect fit for our d.

Also consider the scoring effects. We typically get outplayed and the other team takes the lead. THEN we start outshooting them. Look at tonight outshot 21-7 before we even show up.

Corsica isn't around anymore and I haven't been able to really look up the analytics this season but I'd be willing to bet that our Corsi isn't all that great when it comes to the scoring being even.
10th in the league when score is even. 15th when we're trailling or when the score is close. 1st when we're leading (which is practically never).

Andrew Shaw has been trolling the Ducks all night long.

Patches even showing some signs of emotion

I like it.

Pacioretty should stay with Danault and Shaw.

Don't forget, last year, Pacioretty was off to a slow start, as well (though he had more points compared to this year). He started with Galchenyuk at center. he then was placed with Plekanec. Even got time with DD. And finally, when he was put with Danault and Shaw, Pacioretty started rolling. It may just repeat itself again.

Shaw is my 1st star tonight so far.

Not what I would've thought on the first one. Where are you getting your numbers? The places I used to go to are gone now.

I think the NHL record for the most shots in a period is 33. Not totally sure though.
