Our defencemen have to stop gambling and play a sound defensive game.

Seeing how 2/6 are straight riverboat gamblers (Sandin, Rielly), and 2/6 are effective but look bad while doing it (Dermott/Holl), I have serious doubts that is the style of defense you can hope for. Especially against a team of cherry pickers.

I really think Sandin should go down for some seasoning. Put Lilly in Holls spot, dropping him down to third pair and grab a Bigger tougher stay at home d for the third LD

Sandin can stay up. There is no reason to sit Liljegren though. He's far too good and far too important for the future of the team to be sitting for Holl/Dermott.
