Anderson in net and the stupid 1 3 1 will be tough to overcome...

Yeah I'm already pissed at the possible outcome. Winning this game would be awesome. I don't even want the sens to think for a second that they're the better team. There really is that rivalry feeling.

Yea because the Wild have played so well since they payed a king's ransom for UFA Hanzal.

Vanek ok, but half of the board would have complained over the price

Hanzal is everything you want Plekanec to be.
I highly doubt half the board complains over a 3rd.

something makes me think that we could have prime Gretzky and you'd still have people on these boards that would stalk and criticize his every bad game and bring up his shortcomings as much as possible.

Gretzky : another small player, cant compete when the going gets tough and also he steals ice-time from Galchenyuk, we need size down the middle. Bergevin-Julien-Molson-Timmins-Gervais all suck.

Melnyk's thoughts about sending Karlsson to the Olympics and how he'd "maybe" let him go if he were Canadian. wtf :facepalm:

Yeah, I agreed with him until he said that. I mean they did lose Hasek due to the Olympics back in the day and during the last Olympics Tavares got injured, so it's a serious concern, but then he added the "Canadian" part, and I was like, WTF?

So it isn't injuries you're worried about, it's Karlsson being Swedish??

Great owner the Sens have there....

Who cares about wasting assets on Vanek or Hanzal, you can't expect to win a cup with the defense we have.

No one cares
Okay, lets see if our team responds in the third, they folded pretty good in the second once they faced adversity. Again we should have been up 2 or 3-0 after the first but we just can't score. I really do not know what to expect in the third.

I have to go back to the blown call on Danault that basically changed this game. The non call on Radulov is also annoying. Why is NHL officiating so bad?

Moslon needs to consider a new GM after the playoffs. We can't keep wasting seasons like this.

I wouldn't go that far. If it's a team like the rangers, it's far from a "guaranteed loss"

At this rate the 1WC could be= NYR , CLB, or PIT.. sheesh. Forget it. I want 2nd seed. Let OTT take 1st .. enjoy.

Almost every sport - even world cup soccer jockey for better positioning in knock off rounds. 1st place means absolutely nothing - its a suicide spot. Take 2nd, play a tough 6 game series with the bruins.. then get home ice and cross fingers against the 1WC and hope they get a few injuries from the first series.

Whether Bruins or Rangers are a better round 1 matchup (I prefer BOS in Round 1 then a revenge date with NYR in round 2 after they take out the Sens!), all I know is a loss here and tomorrow (even if it's in extra time) vs the Sens and I'm just more worried about us retaining home ice in the 1st round or not getting passed to fall into a Wild Card spot. Thankfully the quality of opponents gets easier (Wings twice, Canes, Stars, Panthers twice, Sabres) but with this team's offensive woes, getting upset in at least 1 of those is very possible. And often those teams with nothing to play for but pride and spoiling others' fortunes come out harder than others.

Bergevin already destroyed the team. We aren't wasting anything. They need to be thinking rebuild which this ignorant organization never does.

And wtf was that methot check on Radu while he was on his knees. The purpose of a check is to separate the player from the puck. Radu doesn't have the puck and he's on his ****ing knees. That was stupid. Harmless, but pretty dumb.

Let's go habs. Score some drity goals. Just do it Gallagher.

no sense getting upset with this, even though i hate sens and their irrelevant fan-base.;)
what are you going to do?
team can't score on PP and ES-they let the devils 2.0 hang around,
anderson playing out of his mind again and that's it.
Sens will play a 0-5 in the 3rd and off we go to tomorrow.
This is ALL on beregevin and his inability to find scoring.
Feel bad for carey who has to goal a 1.00 night in and out in order
for us to win

I think they have a couple of more years until it gets to that point but it's coming sooner than many people think.

That's how you **** off your star player whose contract is up in -- what is it now? 2, 3 years?

2 more years after this one. It's kind of crazy the Sens wasted so much of the ridiculous good contract he was on with crap teams.

Does Karlsson get $9m?

It should **** every player off. It's just disrespectful.

The comment's going to come back to bite him in the ass when he's hoping Karlsson re-signs but won't take a discount to stay.

I can already see us in the basement in 2 years unless we get a new GM.

It's not in his trades or necessarily some of the bad contracts handed out/inherited where his GM tenure will be viewed as a disappointment. It's in how prospects almost nearly all didn't pan out or turn into impact players under his watch and his choices for coaches between 2012-17. A slew of draft years thrown out the window. Sure Timmins can take the blame for it too, but how these young guys were handled down on the farm by Sly and lackeys like Carriere's son, then with Therrien as their "mentor" says it all. Bergy was inexperienced then put all his trust in the wrong guys.
