He looked fine in Dallas. Almost like he's annoyed at being back here where pressure is high and it ended badly. He might just 2012 Bourque it up in order to get let go to UFA, sign with a team in obscure hockey market and tear it up there.

When we get Perry you won't think it's that awful, remember the contract, I know it's bad right now, but it will get better. Once Bourque comes back I'm sure it will get better. And I'm sure Ryder is adjusting also right now, he's never been a hardworking guy but when he finds a hole and can shoot he rarely misses.

Ryder is by far our worst forward today but knowing Ryder, he could follow this with a 10 game goal streak. I'm not ready to write him off yet, but he's a liability out there right now.

Moving Cole wasn't about this year. It's about havign a guy on yoru team who is playing poor hockey and wants to retire. Would you want that for another 2 years at 4.5M? Ryder is off the books come July 1 we'll have more money to make a run at some key UFA's.

I gotta say, really like character habs showed last 2 games and often during the year.

Always hated when habs can't create **** when they were done and would pack it in for years.

Yes but it wasn't necessary contract to move. The point is there is no player to replace Cole and it was awful timing with Bourque being in limbo and the team being in first place. So ****ing uncesary! The player who has been replaced is Gionta by Gallagher. Obviously though you don't trade an important veteran in the midst of a great season.

It's not broke you don't fix it, you just wait for the engine to heat up. Trading Cole = HUGE mistake. What does this team need? A big scoring winger? FFS.
