Kelly is so ass.

Boris is so much better and that’s a guy that was waived by the worst team in the league.

Judging by the opening song and the ads i guess the nhl feels like there is a lot of crossover between nhl and ufc fans

Sportsnet recently bought the rights to air UFC in Canada so they're pushing it pretty hard. It's part of their transition away from hockey.

I feel by being in the crease and making contact it could have went either way.
If the league is intent on entertainment then they want scoring and won't be falling for borderline flimsy GTI calls. Looking at the replay I was surprised because I initially thought Brady was tighter in than he was. He has to be able to turn around when the puck comes in and he didnt swing around in an interfering matter, bash the goalie in any way. In fact, watching the entire play develop it looked like the goalie came too far out of the blue paint such that he was interfering with the forward. Forwards have to deal with aggressive to the point of criminal D cross-checking the hell out of them and endless whacking and slashing. Goalies are the most protected players on the ice - hardly made of glass and fragile. Of course protect them in their rightful blue paint but incidental contact should not be made an issue.
